Set in 100 acres of tranquil and scenic deer park, St Audries Park is a picture perfect manor house and estate located in the magnificent Somerset countryside not far from Taunton. A winding driveway through serene parkland leads you to the dramatic Gothic entrance of the private manor house, where breathtaking panoramic views stretch across the rolling Quantock Hills and as far as the Bristol Channel. Inside, you’ll find grand and elegant reception rooms that blend style and comfort. With a huge roaring fire, wood-panelled walls and minstrel’s gallery, the Great Hall alone offers a Harry Potter-style charm perfect for those seeking a spot of magic on their big day, while the Banqueting Hall is truly fit for royalty. It features large windows that let light flood in while you overlook the grazing deer.
However, the centrepiece for the entire venue is The Orangery. Our Victorian orangery and its golden aisle provide the picture-perfect setting for your nuptials. A house of glass, the space is bathed in natural light throughout the year. A golden aisle carpet leads the Bride along the aisle while the Groom awaits at the top of the room. Lit at night, The Orangery also provides a dramatic photograph opportunity for night-time shots.
If you’d rather wed within the main house, you can do so in comfort in any of the sumptuous reception rooms. And for a religious option, St Etheldreda's Church is sited at the top of the St Audries Park estate - it is ideal for those couples wishing to be wed by a vicar and is located just a short stroll away from the main house.
The Banqueting Hall at St Audries Park can seat up to 130 guests for a true fine-dining experience overlooking the rose garden and deer park beyond. We know just how important premier catering and service are on your day, so let us take care of it for you. Our dedicated team of chefs and banqueting managers are here to wow your guests with delicious delicacies and efficient service. Whether you choose from one of our extensive menus, or create something bespoke from scratch, the one thing we can always guarantee is quality.
In addition to this, our dedicated Bar and Beverages team are on hand to help you select suitable drinks to serve throughout your day. St Audries Park has two bars – a designated cocktail and Champagne bar and a main bar in the disco area. To keep our couples in safe hands, we have created a team of recommended suppliers that we know are reliable, cost-effective and generally the best in the business - from florists to cake makers, photographers to dressmakers!
Our venue is certainly not lacking when it comes to guest rooms either. There are 14 in the Main House, 12 in the Coach House, 11 in Windsor House, four Walled Garden Rooms and three Estate Cottages - all adding up to provide accommodation for over 100 guests! We offer all the charm you’d expect from a Somerset wedding venue, enhanced by serene scenery, first-class hospitality and an abundance of comfortable accommodation for you and your guests.
St Audries Park has won numerous awards since its beginnings in 2002 - our most recent achievement was being voted 'Best Coastal Wedding Venue 2019' at the British Wedding Awards 2019.
