Gosfield Hall can be found in Constable Country, glorious rural Essex. Explore over 10 acres of elegant grounds, with reception rooms boasting panoramic views of the mile-long lake. We can offer beautiful ceremony choices both inside and out. Make an entrance with the 120-foot-long aisle in Queen Charlotte's oak-panelled gallery or opt for an al fresco affair in the inner courtyard on warmer days. The Grand Salon offers a third option so there is something to suit every taste.
The Grand Salon also provides an impressive welcome for your guests, with its high hand-painted ceiling, double-height sash windows, roaring log fire and baby grand piano. The former Marquis of Buckingham's Ballroom is an exquisite setting for fine dining. Seat up to 116 guests under crystal chandeliers and double-height mirrors. Like the royalty who once feasted here, be spoilt with our chef's culinary expertise. From multi-course plated dinners to lavish buffets, create your own bespoke menu with your Personal Wedding Manager, who will guide you through our exciting options as well as every aspect of your day. Mouth-watering menus are created by our dedicated team of culinary experts and accompanied by carefully selected wines. Bring your ideas to the table and we'll provide the skill and expertise.
The Prophet's Chamber (or the snug as we like to call it!) is a cosy space for a quiet five minutes or perfect for more mature guests to escape the hustle and bustle of your evening party. The Library oozes character and charm and boasts views over the terrace, fountain and lake beyond. This space is a great addition to your evening reception, allowing for entertainment such as casinos and caricaturists to set up adjacent to the main party room and bar.
The bar extends the full length of the party room and is well stocked with a variety of tipples. The LED starlit dance floor and DJ are included within our packages for your ease and convenience. Musical tastes are so variable, so do feel free to create a personal playlist for the DJ to follow. All of this is set within 10 acres of lawns, gardens and parkland, including a cocktail terrace for welcome drinks and a pretty sheltered courtyard with a second fountain with koi carp.

Gosfield Hall can offer plentiful and luxurious accommodation for you and your guests. Boasting 23 suites, comprising 14 double rooms and nine family rooms, guests can rest peacefully at the end of a fun-filled day. New for 2019 is the addition of The Marquis offering a further 8 stylish guest bedrooms for the night of your wedding.
