A stunning Tudor Gothic style mansion at the Gateway to the Fens, Holmewood Hall is Cambridgeshire's most exciting and new exclusive-use wedding venue. Surrounded by 10 acres of grounds and parkland and steeped in history, Holmewood Hall is the perfect venue for your wedding day. Featuring a 50-foot long aisle & 18 carat gold ceiling in the Gold Room and a beautiful bandstand in the grounds.
With a wealth of character and period features, Holmewood Hall can be found nestled away in the idyllic countryside of Cambridgeshire. Exclusive-use of house and grounds allow for flawless photograph opportunities or, for winter weddings, enjoy the variety of reception rooms, each with stunning features, within the house.
You can enjoy a tipple in the Champagne Bar upon arrival before moving to the spectacular Gold Room, complete with its 50 ft-long golden aisle and feature fireplace, for a truly memorable wedding ceremony. The Bandstand, on the upper lawn overlooking Holmewood Hall, is an idyllic outside ceremony setting for sunnier days.
Dine in style in the Banqueting Hall which can seat up to 80 guests for a true fine-dining experience with striking views across the lake. Whether you choose from one of our extensive menus, or create something bespoke from scratch, the one thing we can always guarantee is quality.
Holmewood Hall has four permanent fully stocked bars – a dedicated Champagne Bar to welcome your guests as they arrive, the large Garden Bar with drafted beers & prosecco and for the sunnier days, we have the Terrace Bar so your guests can order their drinks in the sunshine and the Vault Bar in the disco area where you and your guests can party the night away.
Finally, Holmewood Hall has 16 luxurious newly-renovated rooms, including the stunning Renaissance Bridal Suite, complete with dressing room and en-suite shower & bath - the perfect way to end your day.
Our magnificent manor house has had many uses since it was built in 1873 including serving as a base for the training and supply of resistance fighters during World War II and as an agricultural research centre by British Sugar. Today, Holmewood Hall and its team serve just one purpose; to provide each and every one of its couples with a wedding beyond their dreams.
