Tythe is an award-winning venue comprising a cluster of beautifully restored barns alongside a 17th-century luxury Farmhouse. Tythe is one of the most impressive wedding barns in the country, with the exclusive estate set on the working farm of the Deeley family in rural Oxfordshire. Elegantly rural and undeniably fun, Tythe creates unforgettable weddings.

Relaxed and informal, yet well-known for its incredible attention to detail, this charming venue brings together the beautifully restored Thatched Barn (dating back to 1370), adjoining Cowshed with its old terracotta roof, luxury dressing room (The Nook), the stunning interior-designed Manor Farmhouse offering seven beautifully designed, double en-suite bedrooms and the cosy Shepherd’s Hut which sleeps an additional two.

Tythe provides couples with a variety of wedding offers including one-night, two-night, weekend or mid-week weddings. Our two-night weddings give you and your guests the run of the place, that's the whole shebang, for two nights and can take place on either a Friday, Saturday or mid- week (Tuesday). The flexibility of our two-night packages allows couples the option to arrange an intimate gathering at the house pre or post-wedding. Tythe’s one-night weddings welcome the Bride at The Nook early doors to kick-off the wedding preparations with The Farmhouse opening to resident guests a little later. All options allow you and your guests to settle into life at Tythe, where time slows down.

Our in-house catering team, Absolute Taste, look after you and your guests during your entire wedding experience, delivering seriously tasty dishes with each bite packing a flavoursome punch! Our talented chefs have created fresh, seasonal menus designed to utilise local produce wherever possible however couples are encouraged to share ideas should they wish to create a more bespoke menu. Tythe and Absolute Taste work closely together on every wedding and everything that comes out of the kitchen is carefully curated and well presented.
