Welcome to Old Luxters Barn - the wedding venue of choice in Oxfordshire. Old Luxters Barn is located in the Hambleden Valley, near Henley-on-Thames, set within a renowned Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The barn is part of Chiltern Valley Winery, Brewery and Vineyard, therefore offering a unique venue for those seeking a different and atmospheric location at any time of year.

This lovely 18th Century converted barn has a charming rustic appeal, with all modern conveniences discreetly to hand. Seating from 40 up to 114 guests and holding drinks receptions for up to 150 guests, this flexible space can be personalised for any occasion, whether lavish or casual in style. Old Luxters offers a reception barn, bar area and raised gallery with DJ console. The beautiful orchard to the left of the barn makes an ideal space for a marquee or even a yurt, creating a lovely outdoor space.

Old Luxters Barn has two buildings that are licensed for wedding ceremonies: the main barn itself and Old Luxters Farmhouse’s drawing room. With seating for between 40 to 114 guests, Old Luxters Barn is acoustically perfectly sound, as it was historically used for opera evenings. If however you prefer an outdoor ceremony, you have the option to say your vows in front of the vineyard. For this option, you will have already signed your marriage documentation either elsewhere or in Old Luxters Farmhouse’s drawing room on the day.

If you'd like to get married in a local church, we're lucky enough to be located within a short distance of several beautiful churches.

And to capture those unique memories of your special day, you and your photographer have access to all the gardens, grounds, vineyard and surrounding areas.

After your ceremony you will have a congratulatory drinks reception either in the courtyard / marquee or vineyard garden area. You will then be introduced into the main barn itself for your wedding breakfast, which would have already been pre-set by our team with their flawless eye for detail. Old Luxters Barn’s exclusive in-house culinary team have developed a range of deliciously different menu options to suit all tastes and will happily accommodate any theme or request you may have.

Now the party and music can really get underway, with our well stocked bar and options for evening food at your disposal. Our packages include a DJ for 3 hours but you might also wish to complement this with a live band! The packages are until 12am but we do have a 2am licence if you would like to use it!

And for accommodation on your wedding night, Old Luxters Farmhouse is a traditional brick and flint house that can sleep 10 guests. With breath taking views over the garden, vineyard and Hambleden Valley beyond, this lovely house is ideally located for your event.
