Your Ceremony

From intimate gatherings inside the Grade II listed Regency home to grand celebrations under the cloisters or on the front lawn, Matara is licensed for civil ceremonies and unions. Thanks to recent law changes, you can now exchange vows anywhere on our grounds—whether it's in the enchanting woodlands or among wildflowers in the strolling gardens.

For those seeking a traditional church wedding, St John the Baptist Church in Kingscote sits right at the edge of the estate.

Whether you dream of an alfresco banquet, a formal sit-down meal, a rustic hog roast, or a vibrant vegan spread, Chef Luke is dedicated to crafting a menu that delights every guest.
