There are a number of locations within our beautiful grounds in which your wedding can be hosted and countless photo opportunities. The romantic and picturesque castle ruins offer a particularly striking backdrop. The 10 beautiful gardens reflect the elegance and tranquillity of the castle and are an ever-evolving showcase, offering beautiful settings in every season.

Civil ceremonies are conducted in one of three unique and atmospheric rooms. Blessings can also take place in our beautifully refurbished 15th century St Mary’s Chapel, where Queen Katherine Parr is entombed - a truly magical setting situated within the heart of the grounds and gardens. Alternatively an outdoor blessing can take place in the gardens: the secret garden, Queens’ garden, Mulberry lawn or up on the ha-ha overlooking the Castle, with the stunning Cotswold Hills as your backdrop.




Our grand Banqueting Hall and bright and airy Pavilion provide spacious dining and celebration areas to seat up to 140 people, with many more guests able to enjoy the large terrace and pretty outdoor bar and barbecue area with stunning views across the valley. Marquees for up to 600 people can be positioned on the lawns surrounding the castle. Your wedding breakfast in the marquee can be followed with dancing as the sun sets over the castle, to complete your perfect day.

Our friendly and professional staff can advise you on your catering requirements depending on your wishes, whether they be for a small, intimate gathering or a large extravaganza for several hundred guests. We can offer a range of delicious, exquisitely presented food from canapés and drinks to large-scale private dinners or even BBQs. Beautifully presented and impeccably served, our canapés, wedding breakfasts and evening food is created with the best, locally-sourced produce wherever possible. Nestled in the rolling hills of the Cotswold countryside, we have sixteen castle cottages, the majority of which are set around a central courtyard with landscaped gardens and ample parking.
