Only 7 miles north of Dumfries, Dalswinton Estate is renowned for the beauty of its gardens – the perfect backdrop for our Marquee venue.

Situated in the sheltered walled garden of Dalswinton Estate, beside our beautiful loch, the grounds included in your hire are perfect for an outdoor wedding ceremony and drinks reception, with endless lighting and accessories on offer to really wow your guests from start to finish!

Our beautiful 18th Century walled-garden has developed over the years; from employing 10 full time gardeners who provided vegetables for the whole estate to a space that our head gardener, maintains to an impeccable standard. We work hard to maintain our high standards throughout the whole of the Estate, a standard that will undoubtedly translate into your event.

Our little red Barony Church is available to hire for your ceremony and holds 150 people max –although we have had more! It was built in 1881 and is beautiful inside and out – 2 minutes drive from the marquee venue in the estate walled garden.

Or, feel like you're far far away with our Island Ceremony. Imagine the tranquil setting of our island combined with the romance of Moroccan lanterns, tiki torches, our ceremony arch and seating for your guests.
