Whether it’s cosying up in the winter or enjoying the grounds in the summer, Warmwell House is the perfect place to enjoy your special day in our wonderful county.

Warmwell House is a much-loved family home and has been in the same family since the 1940's. It is a lovely Jacobean building in a conservation village, sitting proudly at the end of a sweeping drive with far-reaching views across the hills towards the coast. After three years of painstaking repairs and beautiful finishing touches, the house is now available as a venue for weddings and exclusive events whilst maintaining the charm of being a family home.

The historic Warmwell Estate encompasses over 1000 acres of mixed livestock farm, ancient woodland and the conservation village – several characterful properties and a 13th Century church. Warmwell House is the ideal place for a true Dorset wedding, at the 13th century Holy Trinity church or indeed at the house itself. Have a marquee in the beautiful Georgian Square Garden for a wonderful summer wedding or create a snug atmosphere in our Jacobean dining room in winter.





By having exclusive use of the house and gardens for the weekend you will feel very much at home whilst enjoying excellent service, luxurious accommodation and total privacy.

We can provide all the planning you need for your big day. We have contacts with tried and tested caterers, florists, photographers and musicians so you can plan your day to suit your personal taste. We also have excellent relationships with local, top quality, chefs who will give you the finest dining experience and, where possible, make use of the local Dorset produce which is justly renowned. We will work with you to help you make the most of the venue and create a truly memorable weekend.

We have eight gorgeously renovated bedrooms with all mod cons; all are individually decorated in a beautifully elegant country style. Most of our rooms have en-suite bathrooms with baths, showers and all the fluffy towels you need. Plus, there is additional accommodation on the estate should you need it; the estate’s gatehouse – White’s cottage – and for the more adventurous, two luxurious shepherds’ huts. We can accommodate up to 24 overnight guests in total.
