The property includes an expansive garden terrace, a bar, a private room, and a bakery, providing a versatile event space.

The name ‘Toklas’ is not just a name; it’s a tribute to the cultural and culinary legacy of Alice B. Toklas, the best-selling cookbook author and partner of Gertrude Stein. At Toklas, they aim to recreate the vibrant atmosphere of the Parisian salons that Toklas and Stein frequented in the early 1900s, attracting a cultured and artistic crowd.

The venue can accommodate events with up to 300 guests, offering a low-key, brasserie-style feel. The dining area features a unique open kitchen grill that runs along the main dining room, adding a touch of culinary excitement to the event. The space is flexible, with the option to extend into the bar room or be closed off as needed. The windowed perimeter opens onto the expansive garden terrace, perfect for outdoor drinks and dining. A retractable awning provides shade and shelter, ensuring comfort in any weather.

We serve a modern European menu focusing on fresh, seasonal produce sourced daily from trusted suppliers. The in-house event team is available to assist with all aspects of food and drink, and the chefs can cater to all dietary requirements and dining styles, from three-course meals to canapés and bowl food.
