More than just a stunning old building, this grand old lady has opened her doors to visitors and pilgrims to Sussex since C1420. She has hosted celebrations for nearly six centuries - from Medieval banquets to Georgian balls; Victorian luncheons to Edwardian tea dances. Over the years, flagons of ale, goblets of wine and flutes of champagne have been consumed beneath her eaves, with laughter echoing through her walls.

The Pilgrims Rest has been designed and furnished to need little decoration, but is a venue to which you can enhance and make your own.
