The Old Hall Ely is a privately owned, country house wedding venue, located in its own unique and historic estate of 3000 acres but just one mile from Ely in a beautiful countryside setting overlooking three ornamental lakes and Ely Cathedral itself. The Old Hall Ely is renowned for its warm and welcoming atmosphere and is run entirely by the Morbey family, who have many years experience in hosting weddings.

We pride ourselves on being the opposite end of the spectrum from a hotel; to be totally exclusive, creative, flexible and personal. And when we say The Old Hall is "exclusive use", we really mean it: the house and gardens are yours for the day and night as well, thanks to our luxury Honeymoon Suite and guest bedrooms.

If your preference is for a civil ceremony at The Old Hall, we offer two different options: outside in our beautiful garden pavilion or inside the house in our cosy Grand Hall.

Our stunning Oak Garden Pavilion is set within a picturesque setting of the lower garden with the dramatic backdrop of the lakes and Ely Cathedral.

The quality of food is a priority at The Old Hall Ely. Consequently we have enlisted the help of our chef team to create food of a standard normally found in top quality restaurants.
