Licensed for civil ceremonies and comfortably seating up to a 150 guests, The West Barn features exposed oak beams, gorgeous stone flagged floor, original mullioned windows, a Juliet Balcony for your musicians and a stunning aisle to sway down.
Choosing a historic barn wedding venue certainly adds a touch of magic to your ceremony. The West Barn is the oldest structure at The Ashes; a 17th century Grade II Listed rustic stone barn with warmth and charm.
Invite guests outside after your wedding ceremony where our waiting-on staff will be ready with trays of your chosen celebratory drinks. Relax, mingle, be congratulated and hugged a lot!
There is plenty of outside furniture in the flagged courtyard in between our two magnificent stone barns. We'll happily follow guests onto the Country House Lawn with drinks if you like and if it's chilly we'll get the The West Barn toasty and serve your drinks inside. With our amazing no corkage drinks option, you can get creative with your drinks choices: will you invite guests to 'pimp their prosecco' or indulge in a craft beer (or two!)
Held in The East Barn, your wedding breakfast is a celebratory feast of your choosing, enjoyed in the mesmerising setting of this stunning Grade II Listed wedding barn.
The warm tones of the natural stone, polished oak floor, exposed oak beams and super-cute stable doors make this a relaxed and delightful setting for your first meal as a married couple.
