The excitement builds from the moment you and your guests turn onto the immaculate private driveway leading to Foxtail Barns; you’ll make your way through secluded woodland, catching glimpses of the quirky wedding night accommodation as you approach the venue’s private car park.
From there you’ll make your way towards the spectacular sight of this imposing new barn wedding venue set in one of Staffordshire’s most highly regarded areas of natural beauty. Foxtail Barns enjoys an exclusive area of the 70-acre estate now home to The Tawny Hotel.
The main entrance opens onto a relaxing, elegant and welcoming space where guests can mingle and enjoy a quick catch up before the ceremony. On your wedding day, the nearby Tawny Hotel bar opens at 12 noon, allowing pre-ceremony drinks to be purchased.
With comfortable seating available inside Foxtail Barns, your guests can relax at the venue if they prefer; guests are invited to wander out into the stunning walled garden. This quintessentially English country garden is a bumble bee’s paradise, alive with vibrant blooms and wildflowers in the summer, and lush ferns and foliage in the winter.
Guest are invited to take their seats around 10 minutes prior to your chosen ceremony time, in the sensational, sunlit Orangery.
The Orangery is a relaxed, botanically inspired ceremony space for up to 150 guests, featuring a heady mix of rustic charm, natural timber and modern innovation.
The stunning oak beams support a contemporary glass roof which runs overhead along the length of The Orangery and a wall of glass along one side, opening up the space and the bringing the outside, in.
Following your ceremony, you’ll lead guests into the stunning Walled Gardens where our fabulous catering staff will be waiting to sashay amongst you, offering out your no corkage drinks.
The exclusive use Walled Gardens offer up a treasure trove of photo opportunities. Intriguingly designed and lovingly restored, the original 18th Century red brick walls enclose this joyful space, filled with botanical bounty, fragrant herbs and wildflowers.
As the newly married couple, you are welcome to explore and use these enchanting gardens for your more intimate couple shots.
There are 5 lakes within the 70 acre estate, mature woodlands, follies and more...your photographer will be spoilt for choice.
At Foxtail Barns you have the flexibility to design your perfect, bespoke, wedding breakfast menu; there are limitless options, you’ll find uber-relaxed sharing platters, delicate fine-dining dishes and everything in between. The choice is yours.
The contemporary, industrial design of this sensational party barn lifts your spirits and your sightline in equal measure; you can’t help looking up as you enter, to take in the magnificent glazed panelling in the double height roof.
