The Tithe Barn is an elegant 14th Century stone walled barn located under Colmers Hill in the heart of the tranquil village of Symondsbury, West Dorset.

Our beautifully restored 14th century Tithe Barn, with its spacious heated flooring, staffed bar, gallery area and exposed beams, has natural light pouring in through large windows. We believe that every wedding is unique and with the flexibility offered by the Tithe Barn, you'll be free to conjure up any imaginative theme or atmosphere that suits your personality and preferences by dressing the venue entirely as you wish. So whether you are planning an intimate gathering or something more lavish, its flexible style can be adapted to suit.

Our wedding coordinators will be with you throughout to ensure everything runs smoothly to plan so you can simply enjoy your day. We are licensed to conduct Civil Ceremonies and Partnerships. The Barn has the capacity to seat up to 130 guests, cloakroom facilities with disabled access and a catering area for our catering partners, headed up by Nick Holt at Dorset Fine Dining.

The idyllic garden creates a peaceful and serene atmosphere, providing a romantic area for drinks and canapés whilst gathering to celebrate your special day. The wooded area is the perfect spot to take photographs of your magical reception, forging memories that will stay with you for a lifetime. We also have accommodation on the Estate ranging from cosy village cottages to large farmhouses for you and your guests.
