Swan Tipis are tucked away behind the picturesque, thatched Swan Inn in the village of Lawshall just South of Bury St Edmunds.

The extensive grounds and beautifully crafted Tipis are hugely versatile and provide a stunning and unique setting overlooking completely unspoilt countryside. Single Tipi weddings host between 25 and 70 guests and a Double can accomodate up to 120

At just over 10 meters in diameter our Giant Hat Tipis are the largest available and are all crafted from natural materials in the UK.

Couples can chose their preferred Tipi positioning within the grounds and sides can be raised to extend capacity further and create a really airey and 'festival' tyoe feel if that is what they are after.

As the Tipis can be linked then they are hugely versatile in terms of space, capacity and the desired atmosphere. In their most natural form then the wooden poles, woven flooring with rustice tables and seating create a 'wow factor' which is difficult to equal!

Due to the location full catering and bar services are available on site. Couples really appreciate that this not only saves costs but does away with a huge amount of hassle as everything needed for a special day can be arranged through a single point of contact.

Packages are tailored to your taste and budget and include Tipi and Venue Hire, lighting, flooring, seating and tables and an optional porch with doors. Discounted 'all-in' arrangements are also available and can include welcome drinks, canapes, decoration, firepits, catering and a wide range of extras.

Swan Tipis cater for all tastes and offer everything from buffets and BBQ's to formal seated dining. There is also an outdoor wood-fired Pizza oven which is particularly popular with evening guests.

As much of the produce as possible is grown on site or sourced locally and environmental and sustainability responisibilities are taken very seriously. Everything associated with a Tipi wedding is cleaned and re-used every time.

In Summer 2022 capacity at the venue will expand futher with up to 4 Tipis available for hire.
