We’re tucked away in glorious Suffolk countryside; accessed along country lanes, our peaceful grounds seemingly completely removed from the hustle and bustle of 21st century life. Yet, we’re only about ten minutes away from the A12 and just over that to Saxmundham railway station, from which trains take around two hours to London via Ipswich.

Bruisyard is a wonderful venue for a Wedding Weekend. Our country house is set in beautiful, informal and varied 700 acre grounds. We have accommodation for 28, event capacity for up to 140 seated guests in the Barn and 28 seated in the Hall’s elegant dining room for more intimate occasions. The food is prepared by expert chef Richard Grinyer-Power in consultation or an advisory capacity, serving the best regional, seasonal produce.

Our beautiful 17th century barn has been completely restored and offers you the perfect place for a barn wedding. Stylish at any time, but when it’s decked out in wedding regalia our barn becomes breathtaking. Plus, there’s two en-suite bedrooms included. To accompany your Barn wedding, Bruisyard Hall offers on-site, 5 star accommodation for up to 24 people, just a short walk from Bruisyard Barn. With 14 characterful bedrooms spread between the Hall and the barn, your guests will be accommodated in comfort.

For smaller weddings and events, Bruisyard Hall has capacity for 28 guests to witness your ceremony and dine with you in the Hall’s elegant dining room. Alternatively, The Bruisyard Country Estate’s extensive formal and informal grounds are a perfect setting for an outside wedding blessing or ceremony by a celebrant or friend.
