Stockton House is wedding venue like no other, opened in August 2022.

You have so much choice at Stockton. With a civil ceremony licence in our unique one hundred seater secret walled garden dining room, any of the luxurious rooms on the ground floor, or our incredible Victorian turning house. You could also have your ceremony at the historic St Chad’s church down the lane.

It begins with a purpose-built one hundred seater secret walled garden dining room. This incredible open space is licensed for civil ceremonies and can host the wedding breakfast and evening party. With state-of-the-art technology in lighting, sound and heating and with a full commercial kitchen, this will feel like your very own bespoke restaurant.

Open the grand, double doors and you are transported into a large open space with a double curved ceiling, chandeliers and open windows to the gardens and grounds at the back of the house.

Food and drink play a big part in the experience at Stockton House. We love to start with a blank piece of paper and create your very own unique wedding menu working with our amazing chefs. One thing that we like to emphasise is that your wedding day is not just about the day itself, it’s also about the journey you take planning and preparing for it. That’s why we create unique and special experiences such as exclusive menu tasting - just like an intimate dinner party for you and your guests.

We invite you back to Stockton House while our chefs prepare your bespoke menu and then hosts take you through each course as you walk through timings and format of your day. It’s an experience that immerses you into Stockton House as you imagine your wedding day being brought to life.

You can stay with us as many days as you like, we have no fixed arrival times and you can leave at your leisure. Every night you stay at Stockton you can enjoy a delicious, freshly prepared breakfast for you and all of your staying guests.
