The Lantern Room and Entrance Way to the lighthouse are licensed for civil ceremonies as well as commitment ceremonies, re-affirmation of vows and naming ceremonies.
If you choose to hold your ceremony in the Lantern Room you will need to climb 93 steps to the top of the lighthouse. The first 23 are stone steps. The last 70 are the original ladders!
Your hire fee includes exclusive use of the lighthouse after your ceremony has taken place. This means you, your wedding party and any additional guests who have gathered outside can enjoy some time in one of Plymouth's most loved landmarks.
