Prestwold Hall, in the heart of Leicestershire Wolds, is a Grade I listed stately home and has been the seat of the Packe family for over 350 years. Every event held in the house or park is unique, yet boasts the character and service that the house and staff are renowned for. Prestwold Hall is only available for exclusive hire, which guarantees your seclusion and privacy. No two weddings are the same and each is as unique as the couple at the heart of it. We will advise you every step of the way via your own personal choice of meetings, email and phone/skype/facetime.

We hold a licence to host civil wedding ceremonies and partnerships for up to 140 guests. There are three locations to choose from for your ceremony — in the House, outside in the Georgian Gazebo or in our Church. Whichever you decide to choose, the elegant rooms and rose garden will provide a distinctive backdrop to your wedding.

When looking for your wedding venue, the food should play a huge part in the decision-making process. At Prestwold Hall you will have free reign of our Head Chef's culinary expertise and imagination, giving you the freedom of choice. Our chef and his team will create the daytime menu you most desire, whether it’s entirely of your own design or from the carefully curated menu selections. Each dish only features the finest of ingredients and seasonal produce.

Prestwold has been hosting lively evening parties for centuries and yours will be the latest in a long and distinguished line of fine celebrations. Watch the library transform with the help of contemporary lighting into a packed dance floor with a night club feel. Bands and DJs are equally welcome to help you dance the night away!

Sympathetically designed to provide contemporary comforts within a historic setting, our bedrooms are available exclusively for you and your loved ones. There are four recently renovated double bedrooms and a further six bedrooms, with all the necessary comforts required for a relaxing stay. You and your guests will wake up to sweeping views of the park and gardens, before heading downstairs for a delicious breakfast.
