Pimhill Barn is an Elizabethan barn wedding and events venue located in Shropshire. This architecturally stunning barn which dates back to 1584 provides the perfect surroundings for a party. Your hire is for two and a half days so that you can make your wedding truly unique to you. The beautiful gardens and grounds surrounding the Barn are ideal for photographs, as is the onsite accommodation.

Set against a backdrop of the beautiful Shropshire countryside, Pimhill Barn is a magical 16th Century barn full of charm and character. Celebrate your wedding day in breath-taking surroundings, with enchanting private gardens and rustic buildings providing a backdrop for memories that will last a lifetime. The large room has beautiful oak beams and is adjoined to a traditional brick cart shed with open arches, providing a covered outdoor area. The barn has exposed brick work, rustic beams and a wooden floor.

Pimhill Barn has seated capacity for up to 150 guests or 250 if you wish to join a marquee on to the barn. A full list of recommended local suppliers can be provided, covering everything from tables and chairs to flowers and food, but you are of course completely welcome to use your own chosen suppliers.



The barn is a blank canvas; our aim is for you to have exactly the event or party that you have imagined – decorate it in your style, choose your own food, select your own drinks and play your own music. We are licensed for both alcohol and music until 1am.

Pimhill Courthouse is situated in the gardens and is a beautiful building in its own right. The Courthouse includes a kitchen, a wet room, a master bedroom and a large sitting room. It sleeps up to 4 and there is room to bring in an extra airbed if necessary. Accommodation for two nights here is included in the cost of the hire of the barn.

We are situated in North Shropshire, four miles from Shrewsbury on the A528 to Ellesmere.
