Tucked away within Hampshire’s beautiful countryside, Palais des Vaches is the most idyllic and secluded location for a wedding. As an art gallery by day, the ever changing artwork means your big day is unlikely to look like anyone else’s, making your big day unique in many ways!

With three large interjoining rooms Palais des Vaches can offer so much choice and flexibility to any couple wanting to hire the Palais for their big day. The main room known as The Cow Palace is a great space for a large wedding breakfast seating up to 150 guests as well as offering lots of room to dance the night away for an evening wedding reception.

The central room, fondly known as The Goat Pen due to it originally housing many goats, is the perfect space for a ceremony or a smaller more intimate wedding breakfast that can seat up to 50 guests. Finally, around the corner we have a comfy chill-out area named ‘The Monkey Room’. This relaxing area with soft sofas is the perfect spot for anyone wanting to rest their weary feet after dancing or somewhere to escape the hustle and bustle of the party rooms.

These stunning rooms surround a peaceful and private courtyard lined with flower-filled old cattle water troughs, keeping some of the original features from when it was an old milking parlour. On one side is the large north lawn which has plenty of additional space for a marquee or tepees for the kids to play in or if you wish you can hold a wedding ceremony out here overlooking the rolling fields.

On the opposite side you can wander through the wildflower butterfly meadow along the meandering pathways down to the Beaulieu riverside. The perfect place to capture fantastic photos especially as the sun sets.

We also have a spacious kitchen that provides a large and professional space for your caterers to use and a large car park that fits up to 70 cars for your guests and suppliers, so parking is not a problem.

Throughout the Palais des Vaches we have an excellent PA system which also extends out to the courtyard, meaning you can listen to background music outside. For any announcements or your speeches, we have two wireless microphones you are welcome to use.

As a DIY venue, we are extremely flexible and pride ourselves on offering our couples the choice of who they book rather than us telling them which suppliers they can choose from. With the freedom to plan your day as you dreamed of and in the style you love, you will be spoilt for choice with the possibilities our venue can offer!

At Palais des Vaches we understand just how important it is for you to have plenty of time to set up and style your wedding venue. For that reason, we offer exclusive hire for four days, two days for preparations beforehand, your “Big Day”, and time to clear up the following day.

Not only that but included in your hire you will have the help from our award winning on the day wedding co-ordinator, who will be there to ensure your special day runs smoothly.
