Nantwen is a beautiful intimate wedding venue in a private location surrounded by wildflowers and wildlife in a wooded valley with panoramic views across open fields and woodland. Nantwen is nestled in the middle of a national park near Newport, with views over some of Pembrokeshire’s most breathtaking scenery. Whether you’re planning a runaway wedding, elopement or an intimate celebration, Nantwen will provide a day you’ll never forget.

For the ceremony we offer a choice of three locations, with options for up to 8, 20 or 50 guests. If you want to hold your reception or ceremony outside we have an open meadow with panoramic views. This can easily accommodate a marquee. If you are planning an elopement then we try our best to make it a relaxed and enjoyable day.

Nantwen is an intimate wedding venue steeped in history, crafted with local expertise and finished with the latest eco-technology. Nantwen was a set of two stone barns which were part of a farm that dates back to the 1400’s. One barn is now a luxury cottage; an ideal place for the bride and groom to stay for the duration of the wedding. With a bathtub in the bedroom and a wood stove in the living room, it’s perfect for an elopement or romantic getaway. The ceremony can take place in our second building - a 15th Century barn.
