Situated close to the town of Wareham between Poole and Weymouth, Longthorns is one of the most unique wedding venues in Dorset. The Parlour is a rustic, newly renovated old dairy parlour, which brings the traditional and contemporary together in one of the most diverse stretches of the Dorset countryside. Longthorns Farm stands on 50 acres of woodlands and fields, creating amazing backdrops for all your wedding photographs and is close to the Jurassic Coast, Poole and Bournemouth.

Longthorns holds a license for ceremonies inside The Old Dairy Parlour or outside either under the Pagoda or in our Alpaca Bay. If the weather is inclement, our marquee is located on the old dairy yard (not on the grass) and is actually attached to The Old Dairy Parlour, ensuring that you and your guests can stay dry throughout your event.

The Parlour creates the perfect setting for the reception, complete with wedding arch and fully licensed bar, all tastefully decorated to suit your special occasion.

We offer an all-inclusive "Wedding Weekender Package" which is available from April to September (excluding mid July to end of August, Easter and Bank Holidays). This includes:

• exclusive use venue hire from 10am on arrival day until 2pm on departure day (2 nights stay)


• guest booking service


• bridal dressing room


• The Old Dairy Parlour


• fully lined marquee with chandelier or rustic cartwheel lighting, covered flooring, chairs, tables and linen for up to 120 people


• fully licensed and staffed bar (closes at 11.30 pm)


• wedding arch (not decorated)


• antique Mexican hay rack fire pit and outdoor recreation space with giant outdoor games


• glamping and camping accommodation for 2 nights which includes 4 Tipis (each sleeps 4), 4 shepherd's huts (each sleeps 4), 4 camping pods (each sleeps 2) and camping pitches for up to 70 people


• Full toilet and shower facilities and parking for all guests
