Brickwall House is set amongst a stunning historic garden in an outstanding 60-acre estate in East Sussex. This impressive Grade I Listed Jacobean Manor House wedding venue, is comfortably furnished with 17th and 18th Century interiors and is a true wonder to behold both inside and out.

Here in deep rural East Sussex, you will discover all the character of a country house, combined with all the modern facilities to ensure a seamless occasion. Award-winning planning experts Nova Wedding Planning manage the venue, so you can be sure that everything on your day will run smoothly.

There are several choices available when it comes to having your ceremony at Brickwall House, making our venue so versatile. You can choose to marry in a civil ceremony in our drawing room which can accommodate 90 guests comfortably, or with 120 guests (80 inside and 30 in the courtyard). Alternatively, you are also able to marry in a symbolic ceremony on one of our lawns, or next to the stunning topiary garden looking out onto the beautiful deer park which can accommodate up to 200 seated guests.

For wedding receptions, the venue can host up to 50 guests in the drawing room for an intimate dinner or up to 200 in a beautiful marquee on the rear lawn.

Brickwall House can accommodate 36 of your guests overnight. In addition, it has an area for the erection of Bell Tents and we also have connections with local hotels with whom we have negotiated preferential rates. You can bring in your own alcohol for the drinks reception and wedding breakfast to be served by our caterer as we don't charge a corkage fee. We have a choice of 3 different caterers: Souper Food, Vine & Dine or Super Event.

The grounds at Brickwall House are ideal for your wedding. To the front of the venue, the driveway is lined with meticulously manicured lawns, whilst to the rear of the venue are the formal gardens where the beds are planted with over a hundred varieties of plants, giving you a range of colours throughout the year, perfect as a backdrop for your wedding photography.
