A stunning Georgian country house in the heart of the Essex countryside. Barnston Lodge has been a family home for generations, and today, Jane and her two daughters have turned it into a successful wedding venue and location house.

Featuring rolling paddocks with grazing horses and a large lake, it's a picturesque setting and we'll do our best to make you feel right at home.

A Norman church is a stone's throw from Barnston Lodge, and we also have lots of interesting Victorian outbuildings. This includes the "Brew House" - a Victorian summer house that was used to brew beer back in the day. It has a huge open fire, and overlooks the large lawns.

The gardens at Barnston Lodge are stunning - with rose beds and hydrangeas that add magnificent colour to the venue.

The lake is also a very picturesque spot and is a wildlife haven, with lots of heron, ducks and the odd kingfisher.
