A countryside wedding venue with a difference – you will fall in love with it! Relax in the extensive lawned gardens, with Kirkstead Abbey ruin as your beautiful backdrop. Sip champagne whilst playing croquet, before dining in the magnificent Oak Barn or outside in The Orchard, or snuggle up under a blanket next to our outdoor fire pit for a romantic evening reception setting.

This private, family-owned and run venue is only moments away from the delightful and historic town of Woodhall Spa, making its wealth of attractions accessible including an array of hotel accommodation and other wedding services including wedding florists, hair and beauty, a bespoke wedding cake maker and even a beautiful wedding dress shop!

Abbey Farm is home to St Leonard’s Church, a beautiful 13th Century church where your marriage or blessing ceremony can take place. With seating for around 75 guests it is easily reached across the Abbey field on foot via a grass cut pathway or through the wonderful setting of our romantic woodland walk. Or travel the short journey by car or use our tractor and trailer which can collect you and your guests. Outdoor and indoor ceremonies are now also available on-site in the beautiful 400 year Old Granary Barn, in the Oak Barn or outside in the Meadows – the choice is yours!

We are delighted to announce our new on-site accommodation – Abbey Grange. Lovingly renovated in 2025, our farmhouse exudes grandeur and luxury whilst still retaining its rustic charm and cosy atmosphere. Abbey Grange can sleep up to 12 adults plus an additional 2 children. We have 5 super king bedrooms, each beautifully furnished and complimented by our sociable cocktail bar, games room and fully equipped kitchen. Enjoy some relaxation and pampering on the morning of your wedding in our spacious living room – the perfect place for all of your bridal prep!

In the extensive grounds you’ll find our unique vintage-style slipper tub outdoor baths, enjoy a relaxing soak while sipping on a glass of bubbly – the perfect way to end your wedding weekend!
