Wise Wedding Venue is a delightful, woodland hideaway offering a truly unusual and unique location for your special day. We offer exclusive-use of the grounds for the duration of the event, so the only things that may possibly intrude on your big day are the odd bunny or squirrel.

The venue is set within ten acres of mature oak, hazel and silver birch with a variety of open grassed areas and picturesque reed lakes. Nestled within these surroundings is a beautiful traditional marquee with block print lining, along with hidden treehouses, a labyrinth of pathways, quirky woodland and lake lighting, suspended furniture, cast iron sculptures and cosy log fires, all providing an enchanting backdrop for you and your guests.

Alongside all the usual features of an outdoor wedding venue there are some more unusual additions. We have our open sided treehouse which we built in the woods on the family farm and we can also offer a most unique stay in our bridal suite treehouse, positioned twenty five feet up an oak tree and linked to the ground via a wooden spiral staircase; checking in is not for the faint hearted and don’t even think about the carrying over the threshold thing. However, for the more adventurous, there are flowers, chocolates, refreshments, an en suite bathroom and a beautiful view awaiting them - wake up to the sound of birds singing and squirrels foraging whilst nestled in the comfort of the bridal suite treehouse. Take a load off by relaxing in one of the hanging sofas or floating armchairs. Navigate the illuminated pathways searching for oddities hidden away in the tree-tops and discover a variety of lighting installations that only come to life once the sun goes down.

We can recommend a list of caterers who are familiar with our venue or you can use your own if you wish. You are welcome to have food vans on site. In addition, the following services are included in the venue price – log fire with logs seating, firewood, camping and luxury toilet facilities. There is no charge for camping, however you may want to hire in a toilet cube for your campers - we can arrange this for you.

Trains running from London Charing Cross, London Bridge or Victoria to Paddock Wood take approximately 40 minutes. From there the venue is less than 5 minutes away by taxi.
