Whaplode Manor is a family-run wedding and events venue set in the heart of the Lincolnshire Fens near Spalding. Centered around a stunning 19th-century restored granary barn and established courtyard, it offers a warm, versatile space full of character — from a light-filled conservatory and traditional lounge to a vaulted gallery and spacious dancefloor.

For over 30 years, the same family has lovingly hosted weddings here, including their own — the first taking place when the barn had no roof, and most recently a third-generation celebration in 2023. With deep roots and a heartfelt connection to the venue, the team at Whaplode Manor offers a truly personal touch.

As a fully licensed civil wedding venue, our barn offers a truly special setting for your day. The space comfortably seats up to 90 guests for your onsite ceremony and wedding breakfast and can host up to 250 guests for a lively evening reception. We can also host up to 11 overnight guests (including the happy couple) in our recently renovated on-site accommodation rooms adjacent to the venue.

You’ll enjoy full, exclusive use of the venue throughout your celebration. Check-in begins at 3pm the day before your wedding, giving you plenty of time to add those all-important finishing touches. After the big day, you can ease into the morning with a relaxed check-out at 11am — following a delicious continental breakfast served for you and your overnight guests.

The barn’s traditional features, including a roaring log burner, Chesterfield-style seating, and rustic whisky barrel tabletops, perfectly complement the character and charm of this historic setting.

Weddings are available to book on a Saturday or Wednesday.
