Licensed for civil ceremonies, the Castle offers the option of an outdoor ceremony in our beautiful wedding garden with the enchanting Lady Palmers Pavilion, or indoors in our magnificent ballroom. The Ballroom, with its 16th Century architecture and direct access to our grounds, is the perfect location for your ceremony to take place. You can walk down the red carpet, directly from either outdoors or indoors and say your vows in front of your guests.


For those who are feeling more daring... we have a dungeon available! The Dungeon is the perfect venue for those wanting something to wow their guests. It has direct access to the outdoors and looks amazing by candlelight.

We only host one wedding per day, ensuring that you and your guests are the only VIP's at the hotel. We also offer the castle exclusively, which allows you to have private use of the whole venue and its grounds.

We have a highly trained wedding team who can help guide you through the process of arranging your fairytale wedding. Our chefs can create a bespoke menu suited to your tastes or we can offer you our list of menus to choose from. We also have 32 beautifully decorated en suite rooms including the King James bridal suite, which King James himself stayed in when he was travelling from Scotland to London for his coronation in 1603.
