Turvey, Bedfordshire

Nestled away in the Bedfordshire countryside, Turvey House is a beautiful 18th Century manor house surrounded by picturesque gardens and parkland, providing the most beautiful of settings for your wedding day. The house, still family owned, is designed in a breath-taking neo-classical style that provides a level of opulence matched by very few wedding venues.
Turvey House is a Grade I Listed country house, set in 150 acres of surrounding parkland by the river Great Ouse. It was originally built in 1792 but heavily remodelled in the mid 1830s into the neo-classical style that we see today.
When booking with Turvey House, you will celebrate saying ‘I do’ with the house as your backdrop and with stunning views of the river Great Ouse. Whether you wish to have a traditional country marquee, tipi-tent or a fabulous stretch marquee, you will soon realise that the sky is the limit for what you can do in Turvey House’s pristine grounds.
Turvey House is the ideal venue if you are looking for a unique and creative space that steps outside the usual private function room. Every event is different and personal so we do not offer packages and prefer to give you the flexibility to create your own special day. Our highly experienced preferred suppliers will ensure every last detail of your wonderful event is looked after.
Turvey House is conveniently located 60 miles from London and Heathrow Airport (15 minutes from the M1), 30 miles from Luton Airport, 15 miles from Milton Keynes, 70 miles from Birmingham & 25 miles from Silverstone Race Circuit.
