Soho, Central London

The Union is a beautiful 280-year-old townhouse in the heart of Soho, decorated with French street lights, modern and antique furniture and an eclectic art collection, complemented by acclaimed, unpretentious modern British cuisine. A private members club of unique character: intimate and authentic - a quintessential London wedding venue.
The Union Club was set up 25 years ago by ex-North Sea oil rigger Pete Cross and Chef Carolyn Dawson. The building was rescued from semi-dereliction and after lashings of TLC from a crew of family, friends and waitresses to be - the doors were thrown open in September 1993. In 2015, the club acquired the 4 story neighbouring premises next door and expanded into this warehouse-style space in September 2016, to create a dynamic new events space.
Now, more than two decades later, it has become an established Soho institution that is unique in its style, food and ethos. With a sunny roof garden and four floors of versatile space, fully licensed to hold weddings and civil ceremonies, we can cater for every part of your celebration.
With over 23 years of experience, we are here to assist in making your wedding day stress-free and a wonderful, unique celebration. And in a beautiful and eclectic 280 year old Georgian town house, your big day will be unforgettable.
Our Head Chef, Carolyn Dawson, is a widely travelled Australian who has been running our kitchens at the Union for 25 years. Carolyn’s team offer unmatched quality (they bake their own bread daily and make their own fresh pasta) at unbeatable cost – the Union is proud to offer exceptional value as part of its weddings service.
Get in contact with us to come in for a show around of our space and see why the Union is a perfect venue for your wedding. We can offer a fabulously relaxed Bohemian backdrop for your special day.
