There is nothing ordinary about Highfield House. Every detail of our beautiful Yorkshire wedding venue has been lovingly crafted by our family team, and we will take the same bespoke approach to organising your wedding day.

We don't do packages, we do build dreams. From our first meeting with you, we take the time to tap into your imagination and really understand how you see your special day. We then work with you to transfer that vision from your mind's eye into reality, creating an occasion full of memorable moments that you and your guests will treasure forever.

Our couples have exclusive use of our house and grounds from their pre-wedding preparations to the ceremony itself, wedding breakfast, evening party, and first breakfast together.

From welcoming your guests in our stunning Entrance Hall with its period stained glass windows; to the ceremony in our Great Hall with its vaulted ceiling and wrought iron chandeliers; and your wedding breakfast in the Drawing Room with its elegant carved ceilings and stunning open fireplace, which can be transformed into a dance floor in the evening.

Then there is our cosy Library Bar snug, and comfy Palm Parlour for guests who choose to take a little time out from the festivities in a quieter corner.

In fair weather, you can spill out into our idyllic patio and garden area, bordered by an array of beautiful trees and flowers, and a small stream, for lawn games or simply socialising in the outdoors. Younger guests are also catered for, with lawn games, picnic and dressing-up boxes, and play tents.

And when the shared celebrations are over, the bride and groom can enjoy their first night as a married couple in the secluded bliss of our beautiful bridal suite.

But it is our family touch which we believe makes the nuptials we arrange here at Highfield extra-special. The venue is run by our Lampard family team, a lovely, friendly if slightly quirky bunch who stop at nothing to make your celebration incredible.
