The Barn at Avington is a blank canvas industrial barn venue, set in the beautiful Hampshire countryside. Offering a riverside ceremony location, 5* holiday cottages and camping available for your wedding guests, we encourage wedding weekends and give you plenty of time for a relaxed set up. Adjacent to the River Itchen and surrounded by our 500 acre farm, The Barn at Avington is in the most peaceful location. We only ever have one wedding on site, so other than a few horse and bike riders, you’re unlikely to see anyone else for the duration of your stay.

Our industrial barn has been transformed into a cool and light space, which is your blank canvas to style to suit you. Event Manager, Beth, is on hand to help bring your plans to life. Outside The Barn we have a beautiful garden surrounded by festoon lighting and just a short walk from here is our stunning riverside ceremony area.



Time.... we offer something truly unique at The Barn at Avington as we believe a wedding 'day' is never enough and that each couple should feel truly special. We have a limited number of dates each year, so that you can spend a full week (Monday – Monday) at the barn. Getting ready should be part of the fun and at The Barn you have the time to ensure the event is really yours. The celebration can be spread over several days and there is still time to reflect and share those stories about who did the most embarrassing dance moves!

Accommodation: you’re spoilt for choice at The Barn… we have our award winning cottages which sleep up to 12, 'The Glade' - our secret luxury glamping site and a field for campers. We recommend amazing companies who have cool and quirky tents pitched for your guests ahead of their arrival.
