At Silverholme Manor we believe in making your wedding as enjoyable as possible. We don’t sell a wedding day, we help you create a wedding experience to share with your nearest and dearest. We are here to help you create a wedding that you will never forget. We encourage viewing your wedding as a three-day event, allowing you to relax in luxury, enjoying your celebrations with your family and close friends nearby. Your guests can enjoy the full experience too, with accommodation available for up to 250 guests across Graythwaite Estate.

Silverholme is licensed to hold civil wedding ceremonies in the Coach House, Drawing Room, Dining Room and outside in the extensive grounds. There are also beautiful Lakeland churches nearby if desired (7 churches within a 5 mile radius).

Celebrations for up to 120 guests can take place in the Coach House. For larger festivities of up to 250, a marquee or tipi can be placed either next to the house or further down by the lake.

We know that your dreams will be as big as your day, so we don’t like to tell you what to do. We only ask that you work with our approved suppliers when selecting caterers, marquees and tipis. And good news.... we don’t charge corkage! If you would like a bar our caterers are happy to help and can quote you a price for service.

The house has a dedicated team, which is on hand to help with all your planning needs.
