A unique courtyard of restored Victorian Model Farm buildings set in the heart of our organic farm that you can use as a backdrop to create your dream space to celebrate your wedding how you want it.

Two barns (The Tall Barn and the Lantern Barn) wrapped around a secluded courtyard are exclusively yours to create an event that works inside and out. There is access to beautiful gardens, woods and ponds for ceremonies and photographs that will forever remind you of your unique and special day.

We are not licensed, so the legal registration is done at a Church or in our local Registry Office. Back at Shimpling, you can design you own ceremony as formally or informally as you like, and totally bespoke to you, with a celebrant or family member guiding you and your guests through your commitment to each other.

The location and barns are rustic and beautiful. They are as environmentally sustainable as possible, with reused materials where suitable and heated entirely with renewable fuels from our organic farm. A truly unique venue.
