There’s an indoor and outdoor space licensed for wedding ceremonies, or if you would like a church service, the picturesque 14th Century village church is just across our lawn and boasts the resonant peal of 5 bells, announcing your marriage to the world. The gardens also provide endless spaces for humanist ceremonies. Furthermore, we don’t have weddings on consecutive days, giving you the opportunity to arrive the night before and settle in, extending your wedding and making Pennard feel like your home.


After the marriage ceremony, welcome your party with a drinks reception on the lawn. Our south-facing lawns and gardens capture the very best of the English sunlight, all helping to provide scenic photo opportunities for an unforgettable wedding album.

Your wedding breakfast is held in our newly renovated Coach House, offering a unique and unusual wedding venue. There’s ample room for 120 guests to sit and dine in comfort, savouring a superb, customised menu from one of our recommended caterers and the dance floor and bar area offer a unique space for evening festivities.

In our opinion the quality of the food is one of the most important aspects at a wedding or event. With that in mind we have partnered with 2 incredible locally based caterers who each have a fabulous reputation for providing excellent food using locally sourced, seasonal ingredients. Our caterers are experts in producing something wholesome and delicious and can design menus to suit all budgets, from a simple buffet with local produce, a hog roast or a delicious 3 course feast.
