Newhall Estate centres around Newhall House, a Scottish Baronial house 12 miles south of Edinburgh, close to the Scottish Borders and with good access to the rest of Scotland, including Edinburgh airport.

Newhall is a new exclusive use venue where you can enjoy the privacy, benefits and surroundings of this magnificent rural estate and house.

The main house is available to provide accommodation for 29 people and we can also offer 3 cottages adjacent to the house providing additional accommodation for 11 guests. The Estate provides a fantastic place for you to get together with friends and family to celebrate your special day.

The public rooms in the house can also be used as a secluded setting for small, intimate gatherings, private parties. Ideal for those looking for the idyllic setting for a small wedding.

For larger weddings our Coach House venue immediately adjacent to the house accommodates up to 160 people for your wedding breakfast. In addition, our new venue space 'The Granary' has been completed for 2022 guests and can be used for your ceremony and evening reception.

The Estate has a wide variety of photographic opportunities available in both the Walled Garden, the grounds and around the house. We can also provide flowers grown in the garden as part of the Flowers from the Farm scheme - locally grown, never flown.
