Located on the northern coast of the beautiful Llŷn Peninsula overlooking Porthdinllaen Bay in a truly magical location, the former quarry village of Nant Gwrtheyrn provides the perfect setting for your wedding day. The Nant has its own mile long beach, a chapel, an impressive function room in which to host your wedding breakfast and evening celebrations and 4* overnight accommodation for you and your guests.

This secluded Victorian village has undergone a £5m renovation in recent years which included construction of a new access road and the addition of a new weddings and conference centre as well as the provision of accommodation for up to 120 guests. Nant Gwrtheyrn now has all the required facilities on site to make your wedding a truly memorable occasion.

The premises are licensed for religious or civil ceremonies with a choice of locations including the Chapel, Ystafell Rhys and Sgubor. We can comfortably seat up to 100 guests in the Chapel with space for more to stand at the rear. Civil ceremonies are held at Ystafell Rhys or at Y Sgubor. Spectacular views of the sea are to be had from Ystafell Rhys and views of the forest and of the old Tŷ Uchaf farm are to be had from Sgubor. We can comfortably seat up to 100 guests in Ystafell Rhys and 80 Guests at Sgubor.

After the ceremony, you and your guests can step outside and enjoy the magnificent view of the village, the sea and beyond towards Porthdinllaen Bay. We cater for wedding breakfasts and evening functions in the Hall with the 4* en-suite accommodation available in the onsite quarrymen’s cottages nearby.

They have created 3 individual wedding packages to meet with all your requirements.
