Rich in history, the King Arthur Hotels wedding venue ‘Avalon’, is a truly unique Gower wedding venue. Our wealth of experience, impeccable attention to detail & excellent customer service has recently earned us the award of Best Wedding Venue in Swansea.

Our award-winning wedding venue and function room, Avalon, has played host to weddings since 2003. Avalon has a high pitched ceiling supported by an exposed French oak frame and the polished oak floor at the centre of the room is bordered by Welsh slate.

The beautiful arched windows overlook the surrounding landscaped gardens. The King Arthur’s wedding team offers a wealth of experience and personal service to all couples.

We have a number of wedding coordinators to assist with the wedding preparations and to of course be on hand during the big day. We appreciate that each and every wedding is unique and we do not host more than one wedding a day.

It’s no surprise that couples come from far and wide to view our spectacular venue and fall in love with this special place. In 2018 we were voted Best Wedding Venue in Swansea in the Swansea Life Awards.

Avalon is an approved venue for Civil Ceremonies on the famous Gower peninsula. The wedding ceremony takes place at the far end of room allowing the guests to look out onto the beautiful landscaped gardens & patio.
