Hayne, Devon is a young and creative wedding and events space set In the rolling hills of rural mid Devon. The historic 17th Century Threshing Barn looks out towards sacred groves of woodland and lies in the heart of 25 acres of glorious grounds and gardens. South facing, the site gets the first and last of the sun and has breath-taking views across an ancient valley which steps down to the River Yeo.

Hayne Threshing Barn was once the main cider making site for the local area. In its heyday it would have been a hive of activity and production. But an epic journey lasting five years, led to the Grade II* Listed farm buildings being totally transformed into the fully functioning party and events space that we see today.

This substantial and versatile venue is made up of three interlinking spaces; The Threshing Barn, Glass Link and Lean To. These 3 interconnecting spaces can be scaled to suit a full range of different events. This enables each client to adapt the use to suit their number of guests, the flow of proceedings and the level of intimacy they wish to create. Each space can be decorated simply to further enhance the existing natural beauty of the buildings or be styled and dressed up to the hilt, making it a statement space in which to entertain. For even larger events, the lawn area directly in front of the Threshing Barn has been landscaped to accommodate large marquees or ‘Giant Hat’ tipis, giving further versatility and scope to the venue.

Now The Threshing Barn combines traditional 17th Century oak joinery, cob and lime structure, biomass underfloor heating, a mix of state of the art and reclaimed lighting and a handcrafted fully stocked bar, complete with disco ball.

Hayne is run passionately by Tim, Milla and the Hayne, Devon team who are armed with more than 20 years of live music and events experience and a fantastic knowledge of local, expert and unique suppliers.
