Great Betley is a cherished, family owned, 16th Century Tudor farmhouse nestled amongst the beautiful Sussex countryside, featuring a pretty pond by the front lawn. We offer a unique and exclusive setting for rustic marquee or tipi weddings and events. No cookie cutter weddings here, you can truly have your day, your way!

You will have the exclusive use of approximately 5 acres of our land spread over 2 fields, with stunning views across to the South Downs and the Iron Age hillfort of Chanctonbury Ring. There's plenty of room for your marquee or tipi, guest glamping or camping and plenty of space for parking too.

Our season runs from May to September and although currently not licensed for the legal part, you can have a celebrant of your choice to hold a truly personal ceremony for friends and relatives to celebrate with you.

We can cater for wedding parties of all sizes whether a small intimate gathering is your choice or a large festival style gathering. We fully support LGBTQ weddings.

We are lucky enough to work with some of this region’s best wedding and event suppliers; suppliers that we have a sound history of working with who we can trust wholeheartedly to help deliver your dream wedding day. But of course, the best thing about having a Great Betley wedding is that you can bring in whoever you choose to help create the day of your dreams - the choice is yours!

Our beautiful and spacious Bridal Suite is perfect for a couple to spend their first night, with en suite facilities and a lovely south facing view. We can also offer 3 other double bedrooms which are part of the package on a B&B basis, so that some of your closest friends or family will be there at breakfast the following morning to enjoy the memories of your perfect wedding day.
