Situated in 12 acres of land including woods and a pond, Glyngynwydd, with its rustic charm, provides a breath-taking backdrop for your unforgettable wedding day. Set in an unspoilt valley and surrounded by the beautiful Welsh countryside, we offer a very relaxed approach to planning your wedding. Glyngynwydd Wedding Barn and Cottages is a licensed rustic wedding venue set in the heart of Wales. We are proud of our location, which provides an utterly gorgeous backdrop for your wedding pictures.

We are a family run business offering a relaxed, hands-off approach, giving you the flexibility to tailor every part of your day, your way. As a venue we are licensed for Civil Ceremonies, Blessings and Civil Partnerships and we also welcome Humanist Ceremonies and the Renewal of Vows. We provide a blank canvas that can be adapted to suit any budget and taste whether it's festival, vintage or just a little different.

We have a choice of 2 ceremony rooms that have space for between 2–180 of your guests. You’ll have exclusive use of the property from 3pm on Friday until 3pm on Sunday; plenty of time to set up and no need to rush off. And you can relax in the knowledge that you’re not going to bump into any other brides.




We can seat 120 people and have capacity for 180 for your evening event but we can also cater for much smaller numbers if that is what you require. If you’re stuck for ideas for catering and entertainment, we are more than happy to assist with this and make your day extra special! When it comes to catering there are endless possibilities; from hog roasts and pizzas, street food to a formal 3 course, silver service wedding breakfast. Or do something completely different, we like that here.

• Exclusive use of the grounds, choice of 2 ceremony rooms, wedding barn and communal stables from 3pm Friday to 3pm Sunday
