Glenapp hosts a variety of weddings for 2 - 200 guests in a range of private rooms and unique open air venues around the estate and gardens, all with stunning vistas, from the gazebo and the drawing room, through to a grand marquee. For weddings from 20 to 60 guests, the whole castle is available for exclusive-use. On a few occasions each year and again on an exclusive basis, the castle is available for marquee weddings for up to 200.



Under Scottish Law, couples from anywhere in the world can be married in Scotland without having to be resident here. Glenapp Castle is the perfect venue, with a variety of intimate locations in which you can exchange your vows. A Minister of Religion can perform marriage ceremonies anywhere within the castle or the gardens and a Civil Registrar can marry couples at certain specified locations within the castle or in the many acres of beautiful gardens. Alternatively, a religious, civil or humanist ceremony can be conducted within the castle itself or in the gardens.

Our expert team of chefs make the most of the very best Ayrshire seafood and farm produce and will provide a variety of distinctive and delectable menus to choose from. Each of these can be tailored to your specific preferences.

The castle itself can accommodate up to 40 guests in 17 beautifully appointed rooms (21 as of May 2020). We also can accommodate up to a further 36 guests in 5 star local cottages along the Stinchar River and on the harbour's edge with complimentary transfers to and from the castle.
