A relaxed, quietly beautiful, bespoke family-run location just 15 minutes west of historic Cambridge, Childerley Long Barn is ideal for those looking for a venue celebrating individuality. Providing a fabulous informal setting for your wedding or event with its stunning Long Barn and magnificent gardens and grounds, Childerley offers the perfect backdrop for your wedding day.

We provide absolute exclusivity to our couples, giving you and your suppliers access the day before to set up the Barn to make it your own. Our small team is attentive and experienced and we are here to work with you and your suppliers to offer help and advice to ensure everything goes to plan.

Our beautiful rustic 19th Century timber-framed barn offers different spaces for ceremonies and receptions and the adjoining courtyard provides a delightful outside space with garden games. There is also an option to hire the historic and romantic gardens of Childerley Hall for reception drinks and photos.

Here we are in Spring 2020 and we find ourselves in unprecedented territory. Covid-19 continues to have a big impact, but we are working with our 2020 couples talking through the options, being as flexible as possible to find alternative dates either later in the year or in 2021.

For those of your just starting to plan your wedding, rest assured that we are following government advice, and that we have good availability in 2021 and beyond. Although we currently can't arrange any show-rounds, we are finding that a conversation and sharing photos gives a great overview of the venue.
