Nestled at the heart of a working family farm, Chidham Barn is a relaxed, blank canvas venue in an idyllic rural setting which boasts uninterrupted views across both the Chichester Harbour Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the South Downs National Park. This beautifully restored Sussex brick and flint barn is available to hire for a limited number of dates each year between May and September.

The barn, along with the fenced grass paddock and adjacent parking area, is let as seen, on a ‘dry-hire’ basis. This includes access across three days, from 9am to 6pm on the day before your event for setting up and from 9am until 2pm on the day afterwards for clearing down.

The barn seats up to 90 or can accommodate up to 120 standing guests. The adjoining paddock provides ample space for a marquee should you wish to extend your seating capacity. Our maximum capacity is 120.

Included in the hire fee are our rectangular tables with benches, the rustic pallet style bar structure, fairy light canopy, toilets and access to power/water. There is no corkage charge and you are free to use your own suppliers.
