Our beautiful private function room is on the 1st floor of the historic Canalhouse, which is a Grade 2 listed building. It is accessible via a lift if needed. It has its own entrance separate to the main pub venue. We have a beautiful beer garden which your guests can enjoy in amongst the general public if required. We are situated on the Nottingham canal with beautiful views across the canal and historic British Waterways building.

We are an affordable venue where most wedding receptions come in under £6k. With room hire, catering (Wedding breakfast and Buffet), décor hire, bar staff and drinks packages included.

We can facilitate wedding breakfasts from 50 guests up to 100 guests and buffets for up to around 150 with a disco. We have multiple menus to choose from depending on your budget and style.

The room is available from 9am to decorate, Receptions can start anywhere from 12 noon and night ends at 1am Friday & Saturday. Mid-week room hire (Sunday to Thursday) is 11pm finish, unless a late license is required (until 1am).

We have a range of DJs you can hire, or you can bring your own band or DJ or plug in and play a device with hire of our PA system.

You can decorate the room yourself or we can provide a table décor and room décor service with inhouse hireable items depending on your style, vibe and budget.
