The Buckminster Estate offers 2 gloriously romantic wedding venues: Buckminster Barn set in the heart of the village of Buckminster and perfect for couples looking for an idyllic, country-style venue, or Buckminster Park & Lakeside, accessed through stunning countryside, and opening out onto 15 acres of parkland and a beautiful lake, with no limit on your number of guests, making it perfect for larger celebrations.

The Barn is set over two floors with exposed oak wooden beams, flag-stone flooring and an abundance of windows that provide panoramic views over the private lawn and rolling countryside beyond. Downstairs, the Old Cart Shed makes for a fabulous drinks reception and guests can wander outside on to the lawn to enjoy the beautiful setting. Buckminster Barn can be styled entirely to your taste.

The Park and Lakeside is situated just outside the village in tranquil surroundings. You have complete freedom to have everything exactly as you would like it with a backdrop of woodland, pastureland and the sweeping lake.

Both venues have a civil ceremony licence or you can choose to have your ceremony elsewhere and use the venues for a blessing, reception or celebrant wedding. If you prefer something less formal and want to break from traditions then a celebrant ceremony might be just what you’re looking for. A celebrant led ceremony is flexible and will allow you the freedom to structure your wedding in a way that’s in line with what you and your partner want and believe.
