Welwyn, Hertfordshire

You only get one chance to create memories that will last a lifetime, so why not let the Brocket Hall Estate set the scene for your big day? Our licensed civil wedding venue is set in 543 acres of stunning parkland located within the idyllic Hertfordshire countryside. We offer a selection of locations to suit the scale of your celebrations and the size of your guest list perfectly.
Brocket Hall has played host to a variety of special and important events. Few properties in England can claim to have been the home to two prime ministers, played host to George IV, Queen Victoria and the infamous Lady Caroline Lamb who introduced the Waltz to England in the Ballroom – which can seat from 50 – 150 guests for your wedding breakfast. The Ballroom is sumptuously decorated with fine paintings, including the stunning ceiling painted by Sir Francis Wheatley. The elegant and romantic setting is the perfect location for your special day.
The Brocket Hall Estate, designed by Richard Woods, with the meandering Broadwater Lake and charming Paine Bridge offers the perfect backdrop for your wedding photographs.
Your special day includes the traditional butler service that Brocket Hall residents have come to expect over the years, with our Head Butler and his team catering to your every need.
There are 30 luxurious double bedrooms within Brocket Hall and a further 16 bedrooms in the Melbourne Lodge, sleeping a maximum of 88 guests.
Brocket Hall is an exclusive and unique venue for events, weddings and parties, fully staffed with professional butlers discreetly anticipating your every whim and a team of chefs delivering the highest culinary standards.
