Alexander House is a spectacular country house wedding venue set high in the Ochils, just three miles from Gleneagles, with simply stunning views to the Highlands, lowlands and across Strathearn. The luxurious house and glamping can accommodate up to 40 guests staying onsite.

Couples will find there are many indoor and outdoor areas that would be ideal for hosting their momentous occasion. Inside Alexander House, you will find traditional decor mixed with contemporary style for a truly cosy and comfortable feel.

You can host intimate celebrations here, the stunning dining hall has a circular table to seat 15, or celebrate in the vast entertaining kitchen for a more relaxed feel, with seating for up to 30.

Also available from January 2023, we are excited to be able to offer use of our stunning light filled Orangery for 20-60 guests with chandeliers, traditional round wedding tables and crossback chairs.

For a larger gathering, the grounds outside can also be used to host between 40 and up to 120 guests. You can enjoy luxurious glamping, a pagoda marquee, or a larger marquee, tipi or yurt - festival or traditional, the choice is yours.

Our Traditional Pole Marquee is versatile and can accomodate from 30 guests as a single pole (40x40ft/12x12m), 100 guests as a 2 pole (40x60ft/12x18m), up to 120 guests as a 3 pole marquee (40x80ft/12x24m). This stunning venue is ideal for both private elopements and exuberant ceilidhs.
